Jason Woodham was born in Montgomery in 1978, but grew up in the rural community of Echo, which is located just outside of Dothan, Alabama.  Having been a high school athlete, he continued his football carrer at Troy State University, but received an injury that forced him into an early retirement at the end of his first year.  He enjoyed a brief stint as a student coach with the football program before deciding to use his gymnastic ability to become a cheerleader at his university.  Jason eventually received his degree in English and Health Education in May of 2002.
Instilled with a love of heroic stories at an early age, his imagination took flight and eventually led to the publication of his first book, What Warriors Will Stand.  He enjoys many outdoor activities, including hunting and fishing.
Jason now resides in Southeast Alabama, where he continues to write...
